Accessibility statement
Hipcraft is committed to making this site usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings.
Our standard
We build and test hipcraft.co against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That standard is the benchmark referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act guidance and by Section 508.
- Contrast
- Body text is set at a minimum 7:1 contrast against the background, above the 4.5:1 the standard requires. Interface labels meet at least 4.5:1. Color is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Keyboard
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, in a logical order, with a visible focus indicator that is never clipped. The tab groups support arrow-key navigation. A skip link is the first focusable element on each page.
- Screen readers
- Pages use semantic landmarks and a single, correctly ordered heading hierarchy. Images carry meaningful alternative text or are marked decorative. Tabs, breadcrumbs and navigation expose correct ARIA roles and state.
- Motion
- Every animation on this site — the sky, the scrolling text, the scramble effects, the reveals — is disabled automatically when your device requests reduced motion. Nothing flashes more than three times per second.
- Zoom and reflow
- Content reflows to a single column at 320px and remains usable at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Forms
- Every field has a persistent visible label, not a placeholder acting as one. Errors are described in text.
- High contrast
- If your system requests increased contrast or forced colors, the site responds: decorative layers are removed and text is pushed to full contrast.
Known limitations
The founder photograph is a low-resolution source image and will be replaced. Any third-party embed added in future will be assessed before it ships.
